Hydraulic Machine Workshop
Sunday June 13 from 1PM-2PM
Learn about hydraulic machines, their role in our world today, and make your own using household supplies! Get hands-on as we show you how to create your own water-powered hydraulic machine in this workshop.
PLEASE NOTE! This is a live demonstration. You will be need to provide your own materials to follow along.
The following materials will be used for this workshop:
- Popsicle sticks
- Cardboard
- Glue gun & Liquid glue
- Wooden skewers or toothpicks
- Syringes (blunt tip – no needles) 2-4x 10mL. (Home-made syringes from highlighters can be used as alternative)
- Tubing (vinyl, rubber, or polythylene) ~1/4 to 1/2 diameter inside. (Straws can be used as an alternative.)
