Science Rendezvous is a free annual all-day festival that brings science out of the lab and onto the street with the ultimate goal of improving student enrollment as well as public involvement in the science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics (S.T.E.A.M.) fields.
This year, Science Rendezvous once again has the honour of being the kick-start event to the National Science & Technology Week (Science Odyssey) hosted by the Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
Occurring simultaneously at over 40 sites across 30 Canadian cities, this event offers visitors of all ages and backgrounds the chance to interact with world-class researchers, witness awe-inspiring demonstrations, partake in hands-on experiments and above all, have fun while discovering science in a whole new way!
As one of the largest SR festival sites, attracting well over 30,000 visitors each year, the University of Toronto (St. George Campus) has a phenomenal in-person festival in store for 2024!
